| Propagation
activities are planned on an annual basis
by a group of interested members. There
are usually two propagation activities each
month: on the third Thursday and the last
Sunday of the month. Check the Event Calendar
for time and location. Activities include
cutting bees, potting up, sowing seed, labelling,
etc. |

The Society
has four hotbeds and five shadehouses and relies
on the skilled participation of volunteer shadehouse
minders. Members are encouraged to help at their
local shadehouse or hotbed and use the facilities
available.
Plants
grown as part of the propagation activities
are sold at our popular spring and autumn plant
sales and are an important source of income
that supports our programs and other activities.
